Ban Soong Heng Sdn Bhd (BSH) starting as a family enterprise involved in the manufacturing of clay product in the early 1960s. The company produced ceramic cups for latex collectin, flowerpots and crude drainage pipes at Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh Perak. Ban Soong Heng Sdn Bhd was later duly registered in 1979 when the company starts exporting flowerpots and ventured into the glazed mortar joint clay pipes.

ONE OF THE LARGEST VCP MANUFACTURER IN MALAYSIA
As a result of the need for precisely engineered sewerage pipe, BSH ventured into the manufacturing of Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) at the new plant located in Chemor, Perak in the early of 1996. BSH Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) is produced in the accordance with the Malaysian Standard MS 1061:1999 and approved by the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) to be installed in the sewerage systems nationwide.
In 2001, the company was awarded “Industry Excellence Award 2001, category of Product Excellence Award” organized by Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Malaysia. BSH VCP was one of the pioneer products that were carbon foot printed by SIRIM QAS in collaboration with the Carbon Trust UK.
In 2017, BSH VCP gained the accreditation from CIDB Malaysia as approved sewerage pipe. Through continuous effort and investment, BSH intends to cover a broader range of product. The company is one of the largest manufacturers of VCP in Malaysia, thus the company gained its reputation for excellent product quality, comprehensive technical and customer service and value for money.
